Battery Recycle Class 01 - Lead Acid - Autos

Battery Recycle Class 01 is for Secondary Lead Acid (PbA) small "Auto or car start"" units less than 120lbs each.  This does not include any small units (i.e. VR or IR batteries) with a steel sleeve. Small steel sleeve units are not accepted at this time.  Class 01 does not include any Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) - GEL Electrolyte batteries or Lead Acid Batteries with Cadmium.

Battery Recycle Class 02 - Lead Acid - Industrials

Battery Recycle Class 02 is for Secondary Lead Acid (PbA) larger "Industrial size" units over 120lbs each.  This does not include any Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) GEL Electrolyte batteries or Lead Acid Batteries with Cadmium.

Battery Recycle Class 03 - Lead Acid Fork Lift

Battery Recycle Class 03 is for Secondary Lead Acid (PbA) steel case "Fork Lift type" units.  This does not include any Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) GEL Batteries.

Battery Recycle Class 04 - Lead Acid with Cadmium

Battery Recycle Class 04 is for Secondary Lead Acid (PbA) with Cadmium "Brand EXIDE-GNB - Absolytes - II and IIP or older.  This Class allows the steel tray to be shipped with the batteries.

Battery Recycle Class 05 - Lithium - LFP

Battery Recycle Class 05 is for Secondary Lithium Ion - Lithium Iron Phosphate [LFP].  This is for modules and/or packs.  If you have only cells (cylindrical or prismatic), please contact us for market pricing.

Battery Recycle Class 08 - Lead Acid - GEL

Battery Recycle Class 08 is for Secondary Lead Acid - GEL.  These products can be small or larger size.  These are also considered Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA).

Battery Recycle Class 09 - Primary Alkaline

Battery Recycle Class 09 is for Primary Alkaline.  As you may know, Primary Batteries cannot be recharged.  Primary Batteries are "a one time use" product.  Alkaline is ideal for consumer High Current Applications like Game Controllers.

Battery Recycle Class 10 - Nickel Metal Hydride

Battery Recycle Class 10 is for Secondary Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH).  As you may know, Secondary Batteries can be recharged.  NiMH is the battery technology used in the Toyota Prius.

Battery Recycle Class 11 - Nickel Cadmium

Battery Recycle Class 11 is for Secondary Nickel Cadmium (NiCADs).  Popular in Utility and Railroad Applications.

Battery Recycle Class 12 - Primary Lithium

Battery Recycle Class 12 is for Primary Lithium (Li).  Popular in small electronics, digital cameras and camera flashes.

Battery Recycle Class 13 - Button & Coin Cells

Battery Recycle Class 13 is for Primary Button and Coin Cells.  The button cell is very popular in hearing aids, car remotes and gargage door openers.  Retailers always sell them in packs of two (2) when you only need one (1).

Battery Recycle Class 14 - Cell Phone Batteries

Battery Recycle Class 14 is for Secondary Cell Phone Batteries.  FYI, Cell Phone is for CELLular Phone Technology.  Inside any battery you will find one (1) or more cells.  Old Cell Phone Batteries come in many styles, brands and most importantly technologies.

Battery Recycle Class 15 - Carbon Zinc

Battery Recycle Class 15 is for Primary Carbon Zinc batteries.  As you may know, Primary Batteries cannot be recharged.  Primary batteries are "a one time use" product.  Carbon Zinc is ideal for consumer long term energy use applications like clocks.

Emergency Lighting

Emergency Lighting is never noticed until the lights go out.  If the batteries are in good order, you will see lights during a power event.  These lights' battery systems typically operate between 6Vdc to 48Vdc and require routine maintenance checks to ensure the lights go on when the power is off.

Diesel Generators
