EPA Recycling

Moore Recycle is the actual business to business (B2B) company that collects and melts down spent Lead Acid (PbA) Batteries within the United States of America (USA). As you may know, Ecobat.com (Formerly RSR Corporation) is the world’s oldest and largest Lead Acid (PbA) battery recycler in the world. Their smelter operation melts down the vast majority of batteries within the USA and then sells the refined Lead (Pb) Ingots to all the major Battery Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to produce new batteries.

We offer battery recycling services on all Vented Lead Acid (VLA) Batteries. From classic Rectangluar flooded cells and units to Round cells, Moore Recycle provides EPA smelting solutions for these spent end of life battery assets.

Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VLRA) - GEL

Moore Recycle is able to collect and process Valve Regulated Lead Acid - Gelled electrolye cells and units. These include units in steel modules

Freight Logistics 

Since 2006, Moore Recycle has represented Ecobat’s smelter facilities. We partner directly with Ecobat and perform Less than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (TL) logistical services across the Continental USA for B2B customer like Apple, Verizon and Vertiv to name a few.  To complete our offering, we have staging and warehouse facilities to ensure all your battery recycling projects are covered. We offer customer's the ability to drop off at any of our 300 plus warehouse locations to allow them to complete the project without waiting for a battery recycling pick up at the project site.

Less Than Truckload (LTL)

Less Than truckload (LTL)

Moore Recycle offers Logistic Services for projects that require less than a full truckload (LTL). This is our most popular service for projects down to pick up of one (1) pallet or skid. On request, our LTL service includes a lift gate truck and/or pallet jack to ensure the pick up matches the project site loading conditions.

Moore Recycle's Logistic Services includes full truckload (TL) pick ups. Have a big project with limited amount of space? No problem. Simple tell us your installation schedule and when the old batteries will be ready and we will have trucks on site, ready to meet your requirements.

Staging & Warehousing

Staging and Warehousing

For projects that require a quick turnaround, Moore Recycle offers customers the ability to drop off the project's spent batteries at one of our warehouse locations. This allows installers to get off the project site the second they have completed the installation phases of the project and only have to stop by one of our over 300+ locations to drop off the old batteries to finish the project.

White Glove Services

White Glove Services

Moore Recycle offer customers our white glove servics to enhance their service team. Our white glove services includes: furnish pallets, physically palletizing the batteries, stretch wrapping the batteries for final shipment and inside the building pick ups.

Module Disassembly

Module Disassembly

Our service team can disassemble most UPS Modules and recycle the internal lead acid (PbA) or Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery units, copper wire and light iron (steel jacket). Plus, to complete our offering, we can also install new battery units utilizing the original battery module skins (i.e. plastic or metal). Important Note: Battery Modules older than 5 years in service, may not be able to salvage the original battery module skins. All new batteries are engineered to meet or exceed originally installed batteries with respect to protection run time and life expectancy. To ensure high quality, each new battery module is tested to ensure proper wiring integrity. Finally we ship out these new battery modules to you or your next battery replacement project site.

Asset Recovery Management

Moore Recycle has developed a web enabled Battery Recycling Asset Recovery Management APP to allow customer to get instant quotations for any of their battery recycling projects. This APP allows customers to quote, schedule, select a carrier and print off the bill of lading for their next battery recycling project. Plus, the APP provides customers with value added services to help better manage their Budget vs. Actual results on each project. In closing, we offer the customers 24/7/365 on line access to all their project's EPA Death Certificates of Proper Disposal.

We offer formal quotes and quick quotes that only require a zip code and if you want to drop off at one of our locations or have us pick the batteries up at the project site or your warehouse. After a quote has been established, the Moore Recycle APP allows you to schedule the pick up or drop off appointment. The APP will automatically generate the scope of work for the final project requirements.

Once the project is ready for pick up or drop off, the Moore Recycle APP will automatically email the bill of lading to ensure the shipper, PM, Installer and customer all have a copy of the bill of lading prior to pick up or drop off.
